Anhui Government Scholarships 2021
Anhui Government is announced scholarships for non-Chinese Citizens with foreign passports and valid Chinese visas, and should be friendly to China. The aim of the program is attract more international students to study and research in Anhui higher education institutions and improve international student education quality. These scholarships are offered in any universities of the Anhui of China.

Duration of Scholarship
4 years for Bachelors study, 2 years of Masters Study and 3 years of PhD degree study.
Scholarship Description / Details
- Applicants for bachelor’s degree: 20,000 yuan/year
- Applicants for Master’s degree: 30,000 yuan/year
- Applicants for Doctoral degree: 50,000 yuan/year
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be non-Chinese Citizens with foreign passports and valid Chinese visas, and should be friendly to China
- Have documents such as HSK certificate to prove that they have required level of proficiency in Chinese
- For undergraduate program must have senior high school diploma and be under the age of 28
- For master’s degree program must have bachelor’s degree and be under the age of 40
- For doctoral degree program must have master’s degree and be under the age of 45
- Abide by Chinese laws and rules and regulations of the school and have good academic performances

- Notarized highest diploma
- Academic and school performance transcripts
- Original recommendation letters (Two letters of recommendation from professors or associate professors)

I want to know it is necessary to know Chinese language in PhD degree of English language is enough for this scholarship?
In Most cases it is must to learn first Chinese Language for one year. That is also part covered in the scholarship. China is promoting their culture and language so For every student who finished PhD or MS from china he has to take Chinese language and Chinese culture courses also in addition to one year Chinese language course.
