British Council Research Grants 2015

British Council Call for UK institutions to join Regional Technology Grants that is offering for international researcher. These institutions are working with the Chilean National Science and Technology Commission (CONICYT) under the Newton-Plicate Fund to support new collaborations between UK institutions, Chilean Regional Centers and SMEs. UK institutions are encouraged to engage Chilean Regional Centers to submit joint applications to this new call under the Regional Programmed.  UK institution could be a University, a Company or a Technology Centre.

Field of Study / Subjects

 UK Partner Institutions can also be constricted from the Regional Centre that is leading the project in which they are participating to send specific services in which:

• Expert consultancy
• Use of laboratory
• Pilot facilities
• Specialized analytic services

Other latest All Countries Funding Agencies are also offered for different Research and Projects all over the world.

Duration

 The duration of award for this research project is 24 months.

Awards Description

UK institutions provide many benefits for the researchers:

• UK institutions will provide funding for researchers under this grant program.
• These grants will propose the in addition to the sponsoring Regional Centre.

• Three Small or Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs)
• And at least one Partner Institution from the UK.
• These grants can apply to receive up to CLP $130.000.000, £140,000 – subject to exchange rate.

Eligibility Criteria

A researcher holding the following eligibility criteria can apply for the research grant by UK institutions:

• Applicant should be a researcher from any institute or Centre.
• Applicant should be holder of good experience in research.
• Applicants have the ability and Capacity of Project Team.
• Applicants should be Scientific and Technological Merit.
