Difference between Adobe Photoshop and Corel Draw and Adobe Illustrator

As all the people know that image speak louder than words and keeping this in mind now the business and all the other processes are carried out through images. And in order to design and edit picture we use software’s as the world is now moving towards the IT field. So Adobe Photoshop and Corel Draw and Adobe Illustrator are the software’s which are developed for designing and editing pictures. But which tool should be used is an important question and what is the difference between these tools should be studied in this article.

Adobe Photoshop

Adobe Photoshop is basically a tool which is used by the designers in order to make designs and also for editing pictures the use of Photoshop is increased nowadays. And almost all the people are using Photoshop for editing pictures etc.

Corel Draw

Corel draw is used for drawing different images it is used by the graphic designers in order to create logos etc. Corel Draw is mostly used for creating penaflex and banners.

Adobe illustrator

Illustrator is also used for making different designs 3D can also be created in Adobe illustrator. There are many versions of illustrator and each updated version has new functionalities.

Adobe Photoshop VS Corel Draw VS Adobe illustrator

Nature:

Adobe Photoshop is a rastar based tool which means that the image created in Photoshop is distorted when zoom in or out.

Corel Draw is a vector image which use mathematical formulas behind the image and image does not get distorted when zoom in and zoom out.

Adobe illustrator like Corel Draw is a vector based software.

Palette:

By Default the Adobe Photoshop has RGB palette.

In Corel Draw the CMYK palette is present by default but you can also change it to RGB.

In Adobe illustrator CMYK is the default palette.

 

Resolution:

The default Resolution of Adobe Photoshop is 72 pixels.

The default resolution of Corel Draw is 300 pixels.

Like Corel Draw the default resolution of illustrator is also 300px which shows that the resolution of illustrator and Corel Draw is higher than Adobe Photoshop.

Purpose:

The main purpose of Adobe Photoshop is editing the pictures as it is developed for the photographers.

Corel Draw is developed before illustrator and Photoshop so it is not much advanced as compared to Photoshop and illustrator.

Illustrator is designed before Photoshop and it is mainly developed for the designers.

Use:

Photoshop is basically used for editing pictures, removing logos etc. Mainly it is used for wrong purposes for ditching someone.

Corel Draw was developed for making new pictures etc.

Illustrator is developed for design purposes.

Tools:

Photoshop was developed after Corel and Illustrator so it is much advanced as compared to other tools.

Corel is not much used nowadays. As it is an old tool and don’t provide much customization.

Illustrator was developed before Photoshop but it is now mainly used by the developers.

All the tools have their own pons and cons it depends on the use of that software. All these software’s are basically used for designing.
