Eliphalet Adams Bulkeley founder of Aetna, Inc. was born in the month of June, 1804 in Yale, United States of America. He got his early education from his hometown. He is a graduate of the University of Yale. After graduating from that university he also did the degree in the field of law. He used to practice law for several years. After leaving practice of law he changed his mind and became a banker.

Founder of Aetna Incorporation

His carrier in the field of law was very much diversified and when he became a banker he started his banking carrier from the formation of an insurance company with the name of Aetna Insurance Company in Hartford, Connecticut in the year of 1847. This company was later on generated it’s descendent with the name of Aetna Incorporation.

This company is not involved in the selling of tangible goods but mostly involved in providing services. He died in the year of 1872 on 13th February. He lived his whole life at the designation the president of that insurance company. After his death its next president was Thomas O. Enders who was a very skillful president and that president set the track of success for the company and expanded its new lines of businesses.
