Forrest Research Foundation is offering scholarships for national and international applicants all over the world. These scholarships are offered for those applicants who wish to pursue their study in PhD and postdoctoral study at different universities in Australia. These universities are participating Curtin University, Edith Cowan University, Murdoch University, Notre Dame University (Fremantle Campus) and The University of Western Australia.

Duration of Scholarships

The duration of the Forrest Research Foundation scholarship is up to four years, but it depends on the satisfactory progress. So the scholarship is awarded for an initial period of 3 years.

Scholarships Description / Details

Forrest Research Foundation provides many facilities for students, these are:

  • An Australian Postgraduate Award (APA) or equivalent university postgraduate research scholarship stipend valued at $26,288 per annum
  • An accommodation allowance valued at $19,716
  • A relocation and research travel allowance of $13,000
  • Cover full international tuition fees of the international students
  • Healths cover of international students

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates for these scholarships must meet the following criteria:

  • Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree of First Class Honours standard or equivalent
  • Applied for an Australian Postgraduate Award (APA) or equivalent at the enrolling university
  • Applied for an International Postgraduate Research Scholarship (IPRS) or equivalent at the enrolling university if they are an international student
  • Applicants must be intending to reside at St George’s College for the duration of the scholarship
