Government of the Republic of Colombia is offering scholarships for international students. These scholarships are offered for those applicants who want to seek their postgraduate (Master, PhD and Doctoral degree) in the Colombia University.

The duration of the postgraduate scholarship is 2 and 3 years respectively for master and PhD study
Scholarship Description / Details
These scholarships will cover the followings:
- Cover 100% tuition fees
- Incidental value is $197.217 COP for once during the period of studies
- Stipend for Books and Materials grant is $378.962 COP for once, at the beginning of the academic program
- Monthly Allowance: Grant of the sum equivalent to 3 Minimum Monthly Legal salaries. $2.213.151 COP
- Health Insurance
- Installation Costs grant is $378.962 COP for once at the start of studies
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:
- International professionals with the age between 25 to 49 years old
- Hold undergraduate degree or bachelor degree in different disciplines with grade point average of 4.0 on the Colombian scale of 1 to 5
- Have at least 1 year of professional experience in their field of study
- Must master the Spanish language (reading, writing and speaking)
- Colombia applicants are not eligible

- The required documents must be arrived through the embassies or directly to the International Relations Office of ICETEX in Bogotá-Colombia
- The required documents are:
- Document proving the application to this call
- Certified copy or authentication of degree title
- Admission Letter from the Colombian University
- Certificate of Academic Grades with CGPA
- Certificate of Professional Experience
- Presentation Letter
- Dele” Test
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Copy of Valid Passport
- Essay
- Health Certificate
- Recommendation Letter
