 International Post-Doc Initiative (IPODI) Fellowships 2021

University of Berlin is call for International Post-Doc Initiative (IPODI) fellowships 2017 for international female students in Postdoctoral research program in the Germany. IPODI offered fellowship for outstanding female researchers regardless of their nationality or age and is open to applications from all fields of research represented at the TU Berlin.

Number of Scholarships

Up to 21+5 fellowships are available for postdoctoral applicants annually. Each year 7 fellowships are awarded

 Duration of Scholarship

IPODI fellowships are offered for two years to postdoctoral

Scholarship Description / Details

 IPODI will support the application in:

  • A two-year employment contract with salaries equal to an experience researcher including: (salary scale between E 13 and E 14 TV-L)
  • Social Security
  • Health Insurance
  • A mobility and a travel allowance
  • A monthly contribution to research costs
  • The opportunity for professional training in career development and research management

Eligibility Criteria

In order to eligible for IPODI Fellowship have to meet the following criteria:

  • Has at least two and not more than ten years of research experience after the doctoral degree (PhD or equivalent)
  • Did not reside or carry out her main activity in Germany for more than 12 months in the three years

  • A letter of motivation
  • A letter of support
  • Two external letters of reference
  • Academic transcripts
