The PhD student will work in the area of random fields that are described as solutions of stochastic differential equations on a sphere or a ball. Eligibility Criteria
Eligible applicants for the scholarships:
- Open to new applicants only
- Applicants should have a high level of achievement, including a first class honours degree or equivalent in Probability, Statistics, Applied Mathematics or a related field
- Have good English language proficiency

- When candiates have received in-principle agreement for supervision, complete and submit their application to: Admissions.grs@latrobe.edu.au
- Supporting documents with application:
- A brief cover letter addressing the requirements
- Up to date CV with the list of publications (if any)
- Scanned copies of original academic transcript(s) in English
- A copy of your Master’s thesis (if it is in English)
- A research proposal of no more than 300 words
- Details of any publications
- Contact details of two referees
- Evidence or plans for meeting English language requirements
- Birth certificate or Citizenship certificate
- Submit all supporting documentation as above in a single pdf file with online application
