Biography of Mao Zedung

Early Life

Mao Zedung Founder of Agricultural Bank of China was born on December 26th, 1893 in Shaoshan, Hunan China. He was a son of a rich farmer of that area. He started his journey of education from a local school of his town at the age of eight years. But he was unable to continue his studies due to poor conditions of his family at that time. He was thirteen years old at that time. After leaving his education he joined his father and worked with him as a farmer on their farms.

Revolutionist Nature, Higher Studies and Initial Job

In 1911, China was going through a war of struggle for the end of imperialism in China. He took active part in that war and joined the army of revolts. In 1912, imperialism ended in China. He left the army and turned back to complete his studies. He went to the university of Peking China for studies. During his stay at Peking University, he earned a job of assistant librarian. He got the chance of reading and research. From that job he clearly saw his future. After studying different concepts of literature from all over the world he was inspired from communist ideologies.

Soft Corner for Farmers

In 1921 he attended the first national congress of a communist part of Shanghai. And within two years of time he became one of the members of central committee. He was one of the five commissioners of party. In 1927 he presented a report on farmers of his native town in yearly meeting of party, in which he supported farmers and peasants of the country and represented them as the backbone of China. He was against aristocrats and wealthy people. He wanted to destroy their monopoly and distribute rights to poor peasants and farmers.

His Struggle and Creation of People’s Republic of China

He wanted to change the fortune of his country’s poor people. This struggle led him in the formation of People’s Republic of China. After so many ups and downs, wars, and restless efforts of Mao Zedung, the fate of China changed and on 1st October of 1949, a new country was formed which is known as the People’s Republic of China.

Founder of Agricultural Bank of China

After the success of his revolutionist works. He turned his focus on the progress and prosperity of people of that newly formed government. He initiated so many developmental projects and Agricultural Bank of China was one of those projects. This bank was founded in 1951 for assistance of farmers.

Agricultural Bank of China

It is also known as ABC Bank and AgBank. Agricultural Bank of China Limited is one of the four big banks located in People’s Republic of China. It’s headquarter is based in Beijing’s Dongcheng District. It is much diversified bank and operates in many cities of different countries of the world. These countries include New York, London, Sydney, Hong Kong, Seoul, Frankfurt, Singapore, and its origin China.

As far as ranking is concerned it was ranked number 8th in 2011 in the list of Top 1000 World Banks, on 25th number in terms of the world’s largest public sector bank, and secured 3rd slot in 2013 as the most valuable and powerful company of the world.

Later Years

After the formation of People’s Republic of China, Mao Zedung remained the president of communist party of China. He remained on this designation until his death.

Death

He died on 9th September 1976 at the age of eighty two years. He is known in history of China as the most valuable person.
