Northeast Normal University (NENU) is offering scholarships for international students. These NENU scholarships are offered for those applicants who pursue their undergraduate and graduate (Master and PhD degree) at the Northeast Normal University in China.

NENU scholarships are available to study in any of the subjects for undergraduate and graduate (MS and PhD) programs

Number of Scholarships

Language Student Scholarships: 25 students per year

Registered Student Scholarships:

  • Undergraduates Scholarships: 5 first prizes, 15 second prizes and 20 third prizes per year
  • Graduates (master) Scholarships: 3 first prizes, 5 second prizes and 8 third prizes per year
  • Graduates (PhD) Scholarships: 2 first prizes and 3 second prizes

Language Students Scholarship: CNY2000/person/year

Undergraduates Scholarships:

  • First prize: CNY6000/person/year
  • Second prize: CNY4000/person/year
  • Third prize: CNY2000/person/year

Graduates (master) Scholarships：

  •  First prize: CNY8000/person/year
  •  Second prize: CNY5000/person/year
  • Third prize: CNY3000/person/year

Graduates (PhD) Scholarships：

  •  First prize: CNY10000/person/year
  • Second prize: CNY6000/person/year

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be enrolling as a language NENU student or registered student (including undergraduates and graduates (master degree and PhD degree)
  • Language applicants should apply for the scholarship only by the academic records of the first academic year
  • Registered freshmen students should apply for the scholarship by pre-school report cards or academic works
  • Current undergraduates should apply for the scholarship only by the academic records of the first, the second and the third academic years
  • Current graduates (master degree and PhD degree) should apply for the scholarship only by the academic records of the first and the second academic years
  • Abide by laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China as well as the school regulations of NENU
