PMP Credential Process

PMP credential process includes Eligibility criteria, Payment Criteria, exam policies and procedures.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for the PMP credential, a candidate has to meet certain level of requirements. Here are two situations:

Educational Background	Project Management Know-how	Project Management Education
SSC (Secondary degree)	Minimum 5 years’ experience in which at least 7,500 hours you spent on directing a project	35 hours of education
AND
Four-year Bachelor’s degree	Minimum 3 years’ experience in which you spent at least 4500 hours in directing  a project	35 hours of education

How to apply?

In order to apply, follow these steps:

• PMI itself prefers online registration. Register online by visiting the website http://www.pmi.org.
• Before beginning, make yourself assure whether you meet the requirements or not? And also the data is better pasted on that or not? Here, once you will start your application, it will be with you till 90 days in order to remind you so that you may complete the application.
• After completion of application form, grasp code of ethics provided by PMI.

Payment Criteria

PMI prefers the payment in a timely manner. There are two methods of payment either through online system or through paper with the processing in 10 days by individuals and in 20 days by corporations.

Fee  Criteria

Fee criteria is conducted in terms of geographic location. The fees will be basically determined by the PMI membership status and examination type. There are many test types for that:

Payment can be submitted through Credit card, check, money order and wire transfer.

Examination Criteria

There is a different criterion for PBT administration and CBT administration. PMP is composed of 200 MCQ’s from which 25 questions are unscored and scored questions are 175. The time allotted to the students is 4 hours maximum. Students can prepare from the books of PMP Examination Content Online.
