Radboud University Scholarships for International Students

Radboud University program (RSP) is offering scholarships for international students (non-EEA). These scholarships are offered for those applicants who want to pursue their English-taught Master Degree program at the Radboud University in the Nijmejen, Netherlands. The Radboud Scholarship Program (RSP) offers a selected number of talented and outstanding prospective non-EEA students.

Number of Scholarships

About 37 Radboud  scholarships are offered per year for talented students in which 12 scholarships are fully funded and 25 are partially funded.

Duration of Scholarship 

01 year for Masters Degree program by the Radboud University

For two-year program: to qualify for the grant during the second year, applicants need to have passed all courses in the first year of Masters degree

Scholarship Description / Details

Radboud University provides many grants:

  • It consists of a partial tuition waiver and pays for costs for visa and insurance
  • The tuition fee will be waived to the level of an EEA student
  • A full scholarship covers the tuition fee of €16,000 and living costs of €10,800 (as set by the IND, the Dutch Immigration and Naturalisation Service, for 2021/2022).

  • A partial scholarship will reduce tuition fee to € 2,168. For example: a grant holder in 2021/2022 will pay a tuition fee of only €2,168, instead of €16,000.

  • Also covers costs such as visa, residence permit, health insurance and liability insurance (about €940 amount).

Eligibility Criteria

In order to be considered for this scholarship, applicants must fulfill some criteria:

  • Candidate must hold a non-EU/EEA passport
  • Are not eligible for the lower EEA tuition fee for other reasons
  • Applicants have a Bachelor’s degree achieved outside the Netherlands and have no degrees achieved in the Netherlands
  • Applicants are able to comply with the conditions for obtaining a visa for the Netherlands
  • Candidates have been fully admitted to the English-taught Master’s degree program as stated in the formal letter of admission

How to Apply / Download Scholarship Form / Documents Required

Applicants can apply for this scholarship, must follow some steps:

  • There is no separate application for scholarship
  • Applicants can apply for a Radboud Scholarship by application for admission for a Master’s programme in the OSIRIS Application system.
