South Moravian Centre of International Mobility (JCMM) Scholarships for International Students 2019 / 2020

South Moravian Centre of International Mobility (JCMM) is offering scholarships for Czech and foreign students at the partner universities in Czech Republic. Partner universities are Masaryk University, Brno University of Technology, Mendel University of Agriculture and Forestry in Brno and University of Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Sciences Brno.

Numbers of Scholarships

Approximately 22 scholarships are offered annually to the international students to study in master’s or PhD programs.

Duration of Scholarships

02 years for MS degree and 03 years for PhD study program.

Scholarships Description / Details

South Moravian Centre of International Mobility (JCMM) scholarships provide many grants for the applicants; these following grants are:

  • Basic allowance of 7000 Czech crowns paid monthly (for 1st year of study, can be continued for the next following year on satisfactory performance of the graduates) to cover basic living costs.
  • Free counseling services.
  • Travel expenses.
  • Assistance with enrollment procedure at universities.

Eligibility Criteria

In order to be considered for South Moravian Centre of International Mobility (JCMM) scholarship, applicants must fulfill the following criteria:

  • International students from the countries outside of EU pursuing master’s or PhD study programs in Czech language, at partner universities in Brno, Czech Republic.
  • Those applicants, who have not studied at any of the Czech universities or secondary schools so far, except for preparatory, and language courses or short-term study exchange programs.
  • Those applicants, who already have studied in the Czech Republic or have stayed here for more than 6 months, are not eligible to apply for this scholarship,
  • Have good knowledge of Czech language (master’s studies require very good knowledge of Czech language, for Ph.D. studies each faculty has different conditions).
