University College London Graduate Research Scholarships for International Students 2021 / 2022

University College London (UCL) is offering scholarships for international students all over the world. These scholarships are offered for those applicants who want to pursue their graduate research program at the University College London (UCL) in UK. These Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic excellence and research potential to international students.

Number of Scholarships

Up to 25 UCL Graduate Research Scholarships (GRS) are offered annually to the international students to study in graduate programs.

Duration of Scholarship

1 to 3 years for a full-time research degree programme and 1.5 years for a part-time programme.

For an integrated four years Doctoral degree, the scholarship will be extended to the final year of study.

The scholarships are subject to renewal annually.

Scholarship Description / Details

University College London graduate research scholarship provide many grants for the applicants, these followings grants are:

• The grant for fee is £5,161 – tbc)
• Maintenance stipend of £17,280 for full-time study
• Additional research cost up to £1,200 per year

Note: These scholarships are awarded based on academic excellence and research potential. Financial circumstances are not considered.

Eligibility Criteria

In order to be considered for graduate research scholarship, applicants must fulfill the following criteria:

• Applicants must have or achieve at least an upper second-class Honours UK undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification.
• Applicants must be already registered at UCL or in waiting list to receive an offer letter for a full or part time research degree programme.

Applicants can apply for this scholarship, must follow some steps:

Step 1

• Apply for admission to UCL, download application form from main site.
• Attach the following documents with application form:
• CV
• References – one should be from recently completed degree
• Academic Transcripts

Step 2

• To avail the scholarship, applicants need to notify the academic department that they would like to be considered for this scholarship.
• Admission form will also act as scholarship form.
• Attach the following additional documents to be elected for scholarship:
• A lay summary of your research proposal. Describe clearly so all panel member can understand it.
• Additional Reference – use this Reference Form template (this reference must be related to your current research programme)
