University of Lugano Scholarships 2021

University of Lugano is offering scholarships for international students. These scholarships are offered for those students who want to pursue their further education at the University of Lugano in Switzerland.  Faculties of the Università della Svizzera italiana will award a total of 60 scholarship of the amount of CHF 4’000 each..

Field of Study / Subjects

Scholarships are offered within the faculties of:

  • Economics
  • Communication Sciences
  • Informatics
  • Arts in Italian language
  • Literature and culture
  • Architecture

Other latest Scholarships in Switzerland are also offered for different degrees and subjects all over the Switzerland.

Number of Scholarships

Total of 60 scholarships are offered for master students

  • 20 grants to students that pursued a Bachelor’s degree at a Swiss university
  • 20 grants to students that pursued a Bachelor’s degree at an Italian university
  • 20 grants to students that pursued a Bachelor’s degree at a university from other countries

Duration of Scholarship

One academic year (2 semesters) for master study

Scholarship Description / Details

Tuition fees for the Master’s degrees amount to CHF 4,000 per semester

Eligibility Criteria

In order to be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Must have obtained the Bachelor’s degree with a cumulative grade point of at least 80/100
  • Must have been admitted to the first year of a USI Master

  • Complete Online Application Form
  • Copy of the university degree
  • Official transcript of academic records
  • Certified translation of documents originally printed in languages other than Italian, German, French, English or Spanish
  • Complete application and all required documents send to via email: studygrants@usi.ch
  • Incomplete or late applications will not be considered
