Waterford Institute of Technology (WIT) is offering scholarships for international (non EU) students. WIT awards are offered for those students who want to undertake their undergraduate, postgraduate (taught masters) and diploma program study under the Waterford Institute of Technology (WIT) in Ireland. This scholarship only applies to new incoming students (first time entrants to WIT- it does not apply to WIT International Graduates). Waterford Institute of Technology (WIT) offer a number of awards to Non-EU citizens/applicants on an annual basis.

Waterford Institute of Technology (WIT) is a well-known public research institution located in Waterford, Ireland. It began as a Regional Technical College in 1970 and eventually expanded into a comprehensive institute of technology. WIT’s six schools provide a diverse range of undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in subjects like as business, engineering, science, health sciences, education, and humanities. The institute is well-known for its practical, industry-focused approach to education, which ensures that graduates are equipped for the demands of the professional world.

Scholarships Description / Details

  • Waterford Institute of Technology (WIT) Scholarship will provide for a 25% reduction in tuition fees for each year of an undergraduate or a Higher Diploma program study
  • Waterford Institute of Technology (WIT) Scholarship will provide for a reduction of €3150 for all taught Masters/postgraduate programs study

Eligibility Criteria

For this scholarship, candidates must be:

  • The scholarships are open to all self-funding Non-EU applicants
  • Must have minimum IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent
  • This scholarship only applies to new incoming students
  • Must have obtained excellent grades in the final high school examinations or equivalent
  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree or advanced entry in any subject area offered by the university.
  • These Waterford Institute of Technology undergraduate scholarships are open to all self-funding non-EU students for full-time programmes only who are applying for first-year or advanced entry admission at the university.
  • Candidates must have to demonstrate an exceptional level of achievement in their academic performance.
  • You should be at least 17 years of age in January of the year of entry.
  • Students must have a High School Diploma, with good grades in English and Mathematics and at least four other subjects, on average + 60%.
