Aalborg University Scholarships 2025

Aalborg University is granting scholarships to Danish and international students. These funds are available to Danish and foreign applicants who wish to enroll in the PhD program at Aalborg University in Denmark. These PhD fellowships provide a remuneration to the applicants. There is a PhD scholarship available for posts at Aalborg University Campus Copenhagen’s Department of Politics and Society  and Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities.

Field of Study / Subjects

Aalborg University offers a PhD scholarship in international marketing within the Faculty of Social Sciences.
Other current Scholarships in Denmark are available for a variety of degrees and subjects throughout the country.

Duration of Scholarship

The PhD fellowship lasts three years at the university.

Aalborg University PhD Scholarships pays applicants based on their performance.

Eligibility Criteria

Academic requirements:

  •  Possess a degree comparable to a Danish Master’s degree.
  • Candidates should have a good experience in business administration and international business/marketing.
  • Demonstrate good analytical skills and independence in research work.
  • Proficient in English language.
  • Demonstrates near-native English skills. Relevant language abilities in Arabic and/or Danish are preferred, but not needed.
  • Applicants must have excellent academic records.
  • Applicants must be able to handle sensitive and politically charged research locations with reflection and critical thinking skills.
  • Committed to a transdisciplinary approach to knowledge generation.

  • The following documents are required:
  • Letter of Motivation.
  • Project proposal (maximum 5 pages).
  • Curriculum Vitae.
  • Certificates for diplomas, bachelor’s, and master’s degrees, with transcripts.
  • Provide a copy of the Master’s thesis and any published articles.
  • Reference/recommendation letters.
  • Applicants who do not have English as their native tongue or have finished an English linguistic-based Master’s program must submit proof of passing one of the following approved examinations with a minimum score. TOEFL – Paper: 600, IELTS Band score: 7; TOEFL – Internet: 100.
  • Include a co-author statement. If works authored in collaboration with others are submitted, a declaration from each author is required. The statement must include the applicant’s involvement in the article and have signatures of every writer. If applicable, a credit transfer application must also be submitted.
  • Please select the intellectual perspective that you want to use depending on your skills.
    Include an approach part that outlines how to divide fieldwork time between Lebanon and Denmark under the suggested investigation design.


Assessment

  • The shortlisting procedure will be applied. Therefore, after the application deadline, the faculty head, with the consent of the selection board chair, will select candidates for review. All candidates will be notified whether or not they will be examined.
  • The application must be submitted through AAU’s job site at https://www.stillinger.aau.dk/ .
