Biography of Anand Mahindra

Early Life

Anand Mahindra founder of Tech Mahindra Limited was born on 1^st of May, 1955 in Mumbai, India. He got his early education from the local schools of his birthplace town. After completing his education in the schools and colleges of his own country he went forward in a foreign university for his higher education. He went to the United States of America for getting his degree in the field of business from a very well-known institute of the world Harvard Business School.

Early Career

After completing his education he entered into the field of business by joining Mahindra Ugine Steel Company Ltd (MUSCO). He worked there as an executive assistance of the Finance Director. After that he went on to progress and resided on so many different designations in different organizations of his family business.

Founder of Tech Mahindra Limited

As he worked on different designations in different subsidiaries of Mahindra Group, he tried to open a separate entity under the same group. For this purpose he founded Tech Mahindra.

Tech Mahindra Limited is a company of India in the field of information technology (IT). The headquarters of this company is located in the city of Mumbai, India. This company is actually a subsidiary of a greater conglomerate of India named as Mahindra Group. The working mechanism of this company is to provide information technology services or networking technology solutions or providing business support services (BPO) to different companies of the field of telecommunications throughout the world.

This company was ranked as the number 5^th in the field of providing services of software firms. This is also included in the list of Fortune India 500 list of year 2012 on the 111^th slot in that list. On 25^th June Company announced a merger with another company with the name of Mahindra Satyam.

He remained the head of the company throughout his life until now.
