Asian Development Bank-Japan Scholarship Program (ADB-JSP) 2021

Asian Development Bank-Japan Scholarship Program (ADB-JSP) is offering scholarships for international students from developing countries. These scholarships are offered for those students who want to pursue their Masters/MS/PhD study program at the different universities in Asia and Japan. The Asian Development Bank/Japan Scholarship Program offers about 300 scholarships a year for studies in economics, management, science and technology, and other development-related fields in the Asia and Japan universities.

Scholarship Description / Details

Asian Development Bank-Japan Scholarship Program (ADB-JSP) provide many grants for the applicants, these following grants are:

  • Cover full tuition fees
  • A monthly subsistence
  • Housing allowance
  • An allowance for books and instructional materials
  • Medical insurance
  • Travel expenses

Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Cook Islands, People’s Republic of China, Georgia, India, Indonesia, Fiji, Hong Kong, China, Kazakhstan, Kiribati, the Republic of Korea, Kyrgyz Republic, Lao People’s Democratic Republic, Malaysia, Maldives, Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nauru, Nepal, Pakistan, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Samoa, Singapore, Solomon Islands, Sri Lanka, Taipei, China, Tajikistan, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Tonga, Turkmenistan, Tuvalu, Uzbekistan, Vanuatu, Viet Nam

Eligibility Criteria

In to be considered for this scholarship, applicants must be:

  • A national of an ADB borrowing member country
  • Have a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent with superior academic record.
  • At least two (2) years of full-time professional working experience
  • Proficiency in oral and written English communication skills to be able to pursue studies
  • Not more than 35 years old at the time of application
  • Good health
