BI Norwegian Business School Scholarships 2025

BI Norwegian Business School is looking for Master of Science students from Norway and throughout the world. These awards are offered for those applicants who want to get further education at the BI Norwegian Business School in Norway. BI Norwegian Business School seeks to have a student body that is both national and international.

International students can receive complete funding for their master’s degree under the BI Norwegian Business School Scholarship 2025–2026. Each semester, this scholarship pays for both the entire cost of tuition and a living stipend. BI Norwegian Business School is Europe’s second largest business school and the largest in Norway.

Scholarship Description / Details

Candidates who have been admitted into an MSc program at the BI Norwegian Business School’s Oslo or Bergen campuses and have outstanding academic records are qualified to apply for the BI Presidential Scholarship.

  • International and Norwegian applicants who live in Norway: Scholarship applicants who complete the academic achievement requirements will get full tuition refund for each semester for up to two years.
  • Applicants from Sivøk: Sivøk applicants are eligible for scholarships covering all semester tuition for up to two years if they achieve academic advancement requirements.
  • International applicants: International applicants who meet academic progression conditions are eligible for a scholarship that covers tuition and stipends for up to two years. The stipend is meant to help with living expenses, however it only covers about 70% of them.

Eligibility Criteria

All students must achieve their academic requirements to be eligible for these scholarships.
To be considered, candidates must have a minimum overall ECTS GPA of “A” or the highest mark on international grade schemes.

  • Applicants must be in their third year of the Sivøk program.
  • Candidates who are citizens of Norway or other countries. For the purposes of this scholarship, international nationals who have completed a bachelor’s degree in Norway are considered Norwegian residents.
    Applicants approved into first-year Master of Science programs at Bergen or Oslo campuses, excluding the BI-Luiss Joint Masters in Marketing program.

All applicants must fulfill the standards for academic advancement. The Scholarship Agreement contains specific requirements.

  • Must have strong academic performance and demonstrated financial need
  • Complete 30 ECTS of study per semester.
  • Maintain a minimum CGPA of “B” on the BI ECTS scale at the end of each semester.
  • Recipients of the BI Presidential Scholarship are expected to act as “BI Ambassadors,” supporting recruitment efforts and promoting a healthy learning environment.
  • During the school year, scholarship winners will get information regarding their duties.

  • Required documentation:
  • Upload a letter of application for a scholarship along with your résumé or CV.
  • To apply for the scholarship, attach a one-page letter detailing your qualifications. Scholarships are awarded based on academic aptitude rather than necessity.
  • Add it to the “Scholarship” part of your online admissions application.
  • Make sure you have all the paperwork needed for admission to your MSc program. You must submit a complete admissions application before your scholarship application may be reviewed.
  • For Students in Sivøk: Please send your scholarship application letter to info@bi.no with the subject “BI Presidential Scholarship Application”
  • if you are a third-year Sivøk program student.
  • For the MSc International Scholarship, international applicants will also be taken into consideration; no separate application letter is needed.
  • Other additional documents

Please note that

  • You may submit several scholarship applications; however, each applicant will only receive one scholarship from BI Norwegian Business School.
  • Scholarships are awarded solely for a particular academic program at a certain institution and are not transferable.
