Ca’ Foscari University of Venice Scholarships 2025
Ca’ Foscari University of Venice is calling PhD positions for international students from all over the world. These scholarships are offered for those applicants who want to pursue their education at the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice in Italy.
According to Ministerial Decree 45/2013, a PhD degree equips students with the skills they need to participate in top-notch research in both public and private institutions as well as through freelancing, thereby supporting the European Research Area and the European Higher Education Area. Planning and creating a research topic through both individual work and advanced learning programs, with the potential for cultural interchange, is the educational course’s focus. Completing a thesis with a scientific foundation is a requirement for the course.
We are giving 109 scholarships for the 40th cycle of our Ca’ Foscari PhD programs, totaling more than EUR 8 million. Furthermore, additional financing from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) will be made available for certain PhD programs, like those in Cultural Heritage and Public Administration, as well as for creative PhDs that support researcher recruitment and business innovation.
All nine PhD programs are offered in English, and they can all rely on funding from significant research initiatives as well as long-term partnerships with esteemed Italian and foreign universities, research organizations, and businesses.
