Conference of Italian University Rectors (CRUI) Scholarships 2025

Conference of Italian University Rectors (CRUI), with cooperation of ANDISU (National Association of Organizations for Right to study) is offering scholarships for national and international students. These scholarships are offered for those students who want to seek their bachelor, master and PhD study at the Italian universities.

Scholarships Description / Details

The scholarships are awarded:

  • The scholarship amount is set at a flat rate of €6,656.52 annually, determined by the Ministry of University and Research.
  • An additional 15% increase is available for students with an ISEE (Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator) less than or equal to €13,153.12, upon submission of valid documentation.
  • Universities may offer scholarships in partnership with Regional Authorities for the Right to Education.
  • The scholarship covers expenses for services listed in Article 6, Paragraph 1 of Legislative Decree 68/2012, including tuition, lodging, and educational resources.
  • Part of the scholarship may be disbursed directly to beneficiaries as pocket money.
  • Exemption from taxes and university contributions
  • Access to university facilities (centers, libraries)
  • Additional services may be offered by third parties

Eligibility Criteria

The scholarships are reserved for those students who belonging to the following categories:

  • Students with international protection who first received this scholarship between A.Y. 2018/2019 and A.Y. 2025/2026. If they have not yet obtained their degree may continue to receive the scholarship for the academic year A.Y. 2025/2026 if they meet the required CFUs (credits).
  • Students who completed their previous cycle of studies with the scholarship and enrolled in a new course are not included in this category.
  • Students who obtained international protection in Italy by August 26, 2025. For the academic year 2025/2026, students enroll for the first time in a bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD program (without a scholarship).
  • Includes students who registered with reserve in A.Y. 2025/2026.
  • Students who first received the scholarship between 2016/2017 and 2025/2026, completed their course, and enrolled in a higher-level course (e.g., bachelor’s to master’s, or master’s to PhD) are eligible, provided they meet the CFU requirements.
  • Transfers between courses are not eligible.

How to Apply / Download Scholarships Form / Documents Required

Entering the following data: Family name, First name, Gender, Date of birth, State of birth, Citizenship, Italian fiscal code, Certificate of international protection (number, date of issue, authority), Residency permit (number, date of issue, Questura in charge),Current refuge shelter, School/University degree, Year of issue, Institution name, – Students referred to in art. 2, lett. a: Italian University where they are registered; – Students referred to in art. 2, lett. b: Italian University where they wish to register, First degree course, Second degree course, or PhD, e-mail and mobile number.
Additionally, applicants must attach the following documents:

  • A copy of an Italian identity document (ID).
  • List of tests taken by students mentioned in Article 2, Section A.
  • Students referred to in art. 2, lett. b: Provide a short CV (in Italian or English).
  • Students referred to in art. 2, lett. c: degree certificate of study cycle completed in case of enrollment in the first year, and list of tests taken in future years.
  • A copy of the international protection certificate.
