When (OS) operating systems for slim and smart phones clicks on our mind, we have so many names to recall like IOS (Internet operating System) from Apple, Android from Google, and windows mobile from Microsoft. Android phones are highly developed and most advanced form of smartphones and there are hundreds and thousands of apps available for android phones. Windows Mobile is a customer based project which supports all the versions of windows. Its interesting to know the difference between Google Android and Windows Mobile.

Windows Mobile: The name depicts that it is a windows phone. It is a family of mobile operating system manufactured by Microsoft. Windows were primarily designed for personal computers and this this was shifted to smartphones.

Default applications also include Microsoft Office. The speed at which files are transferred from windows mobile to any other platform through Bluetooth is very high. And this feature of Windows Phone makes file sharing easy and speedy.Windows mobile has ease to use interface. The updated screen of Windows mobile also displays date, time, calendar, current appointments, e-mail icon and radio options.

Curvy Applications: When it comes to Windows Mobile the number of application which can be installed and used are numerous. In short a lot of applications are compatible with Windows Mobile. But when it comes to storage Windows Mobile has limited storage due to which all the available applications cannot be used.

Applications in Android Mobile are also numerous and are mostly developed using Java as a programming language. The number of applications are also numerous and there number is growing every day. Storage space is Android Pones is also sufficient for installing the applications. On the basis of this feature of storage Android Pones are preferred over Windows Mobile.

Licensing: Windows mobile has a different license for every device.

In Google Android there is no license and security, anyone can use it.

Language maintenance: Language plays a vital role in mobiles we can’t use only English for communication but we need multiple languages for formal and informal work depending upon the need. In windows mobile, there is a limited range of verbal skills like main focus is given on English, Urdu, French, and Arabic etc.

On the other hand, Android uses a large number of languages as it is developed by Google and Google is supportive for multi-languages.

Is Technology stopped working? Well! The question arises, if Windows Mobile is so old as compared to Google Android, Why windows Mobile has not advanced more? Windows Mobile launched last window mobile 6.5 in 2010 and it has eventually stopped working due to its low value in market. Windows Mobile is now rarely used now a day. Now android Tablets are also available in the market.

 Google Android is still in process of getting advanced day by day with its coming packages. And the market share of android Phones is greater than Windows Mobile.
