Difference between Politics and Religion

Politics and religion both contain visionary explanation components, particularly regressive, authoritarian progressive political/religious visions that request collective obedience. In recent years, digital platforms have changed politics. Around 4.8 billion people use social media globally. Politicians now use Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), and TikTok to reach voters. true
I am curious to know what country/countries this article is about because it does not describe the politics or religion of the Americas, Europe or the Middle East. Virtually every point is incorrect if you know even the slightest history of politics or religion
It’s hard to say which is the most absurd point here as they all describe a version of both religion and politics that no thinking person would recognize.
Your concern is right. We provided general view of the difference. Not specific to any race or nation or country. By the way can you point out one or two concepts which you think are not correct?
Okay.
Approach:
In politics, society should conform itself to the current world view which is based on the writings of currently fashionable, influential thinkers, mitigated by expediency.
In religion, society should conform itself to the current world view which is based on the writings of currently fashionable, religious thinkers, mitigated by expediency.
Requirement:
Politics requires belief and obedience in an arrangement of economic vision. Through this, society will improve and the future will be a promised land (usually promised in a doctrinal text).
Religion requires belief and obedience in an arrangement of philosophical vision. Through this, society will improve and the future will be a promised land (usually promised in a doctrinal text).
Intention:
Politics is for power to an elite. This may sometimes require going to war to gain/retain power.
Religion is for power to an elite. This may sometimes require going to war to gain/retain power (c.f. most religious extremism, Christianity in the second millennium).
Money:
Politics takes money by coercion and spends some on the nation and some on the politicians.
Religion takes money by coercion and spends some on the poor and some on the church (c.f. Greece where the newly-refurbished white and gold churches are surrounded by derelict houses and infrastructure).
Conclusion:
There is little or no difference between politics and religion.
My opinions are based on Western politics and religion, looking at their practicalities rather than their stated ideals.
I think politics is just a revised form. Of religion. Beliefs and faith are equally distributed by both religious and political zealots. As we search for. An ai to control.our actions so we can alleviate ourselves of guilt. For our own thoughts and behaviours. It’s easier to blame God or Satan or the most recent president or political/religious doctrines. We are cowards at heart and rarely accept fault in ourselves when it’s easier to blame God or China etc.
