Government of Iran Scholarships 2021
Government of Iran is offering scholarships to the African Union Commission through the Department of Human Resources, Science and Technology for African students in Iran to study in postgraduate degree. The Department encourages and provides technical support to Member States in the implementation of policies and programs in the Science, Engineering and Technology fields.

The scholarships awarded for Masters (MSc), or Doctorate (PhD) degrees in the following fields:

- Computer Science (Hardware Engineering)

- Geo Sciences (Mineral Exploration)

Scholarship Description / Details
Government of Iran is a fully funded scholarship for Master and PhD degree
Eligibility Criteria
Must meet the following criteria:
- The scholarships are open to African Nationals students
- For masters program applicants must have Undergraduate degree from a recognized university, with at least a second class upper division or its equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline
Maximum age of 26 years for MS program - For PhD applicants must have a Masters degree in a relevant discipline from Pan African University or any internationally recognized university
- For PhD program maximum age limit is 31 years
- Applicants must be good in written and spoken English
How to Apply / Download Scholarship Form / Documents Required
- Download Application Form
- Application must be submitted these following documents:
- Attested certified copies of relevant certificates / transcripts
- Personal details page of national passport (at least six month valid)
- Two (2) clear colored passport size photographs (3*4)
- Recommendations letters from 3 Professors
- Health Certificate
- Completed Application Form
- Research concept 3 to 5 page (only PhD applicants)
