Griffith University Chancellor’s Scholarships for National and International Students 2025
Griffith University, in association with Commonwealth Government, is offering Chancellor’s scholarships to national and international students. The university has its three campuses based in Gold Coast, Logan and Brisbane, Australia. These chancellor’s scholarships are offered for the Australian citizens or permanent residents (national students) and New Zealand citizens or permanent Humanitarian visa holders (international students). Griffith university has a vision to help those students who are not able to study to their full potential because of the financial problems they’re experiencing. The university has been ranked in the top 3 percent universities worldwide. These scholarships play major contribution to society and promote undertaking research in Australia.

Applicants can choose any field of study (for their undergraduate / bachelor’s degree program) from the list of programs being offered by the Griffith university. The following programs are:

Scholarships Description / Details
Griffith University Chancellor’s Scholarships for national and international students provide many grants for the applicants, these following grants are:
- Chancellor’s Accommodation Scholarship, maximum value $22,000, for a maximum of eight payments.
- Chancellor’s Education Costs Scholarship, maximum value $11,000, for a maximum of eight payments.
- Kombumerri People Accommodation Scholarship, maximum value $22,000, for a maximum of eight payments.
- Kombumerri People Education Costs Scholarship, maximum value $11,000, for a maximum of eight payments.
Payments would be made within six weeks after the census date subject to maintaining ongoing eligibility requirements.
Eligibility Criteria
In order to be considered for Griffith University Chancellor’s Scholarships for national and international students, applicants must fulfil the following criteria:
- Australian citizens, permanent residents, New Zealand citizens and permanent Humanitarian visa holders are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
- Applicant must be a domestic undergraduate student (this includes school leavers and non-school leavers, commencing and continuing students)
- Applicants must demonstrate their financial needs and eligibility.
- Not a recipient of Australian Bachelor award.
- Be enrolled as a full time student, however a scholarship benefit may be provided to a part-time student in exceptional circumstances (with the approval of the Deputy Vice Chancellor Education
