Kent State University Scholarships 2021

Kent State University contributes the Scholarships in Sciences Program for National Students. These scholarships are offered for those students who are financially deprived thereby enabling them to trail a full-time program of studies that can be completed in four years at the Kent State University in USA.  Its main motivation is to increase the range in the sciences. As such we highly encourage students from underrepresented groups to apply. In addition, we highly encourage women interested in pursuing a career computer science or physics to apply.

Applicants can choose these fields for their BS program. Scholarships are available for BS degree study in the following fields at universities participating in the Kent State:

  • Science
  • Technology
  • Engineering
  • Mathematics

Scholarship Description / Details

Kent State University Scholarships is offering many grants for the applicants, which are given as follows:

  • The grant is limited to $5,000
  • Cover university charges
  • Other relevant categories of expenditure

Eligibility Criteria

For this scholarship, applicants eligible must be:

  • A civilian in U.S. or permanent resident
  • Pursue a Bachelor degree in the sciences e.g., computer science, chemistry, digital science (software development) etc
  • Applicants must eligible for finance aid
  • The Scholarship guidelines do not allow us for those students who are pursuing a degree towards a medical profession.

How to Apply / Download Scholarship Form / Documents Required

Applicants can apply for this scholarship, must follow some steps:

  • Applicants can apply online application form
  • Applicants complete the forms for financial aid, and Contact the KSU Office of Financial Aid from main site
  • Two letters of recommendation are required
  • Applicant is to write a one-page essay in which mentioned that what strengths and weaknesses the student possesses and paste it into the application form (online)
