Nigerian Government is offering scholarships for national students. These scholarships are offered for those students who want to pursue Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Higher National Diploma (HND) and National Certificate in Education (NCE) programs in Nigeria.

Scholarships Description / Details

Nigerian government Scholarships provides many grants for the applicants, these grants include:

  • Institution’s charges
  • Tuition Fee
  • Personal maintenance allowance
  • Scholarship amount for Undergraduate will be N150, 000 per year, for postgraduate amount will be N180, 000 per year and for HND and NCE N100, 000 per year.

Eligibility Criteria

In to be considered for this scholarship, applicants must fulfill some criteria:

  • All applicants should be registered full time students in their second year or above in recognized Federal and State Universities
  • Minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) should be of 4.0 on a 5 point scale, or its equivalent for undergraduate and diploma programs.
  • For postgraduate applicants minimum of second class Honors in 1st

Following students will not be eligible:

  • Student receiving another award at same time
  • Part time students
  • Students changing course or level or the Institution are not eligible.

How to Apply / Download Scholarships Form / Documents Required

To apply for this scholarship applicants must follow these steps:

  • Download Application forms from fsb.gov.ng.
  • Duly completed application forms should be submitted at the various interview centers.
  • Completed application forms should be accompanied with:
  • Photocopies of Admission Letter
  • Current course registration form
  • Student ID card
  • Two passport size photographs
  • All qualified Candidates then will be asked to attend selection interview on date assigned.
