What is Red Hat Certified JBoss Administrator?

The Ideal Certification requires knowledge, capabilities and skills required to configure, install and manage RHCJA and to manage and deploy the applications on that platform.

RHCJA Tasks

The ideal RHCJA will be performing the tasks mentioned below:

• To install and run an instance of Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform
• To configure multiple instances, access control and XA and non-XA sources.
• To Configure JBoss Web connectors
• To deploy apps
• To configure web properties for deployed apps
• To configure logging
• To remove unnecessary services
• To configure load balancing and failover

Prerequisites

To get certified Application Server administrators, Application administrators, Application developers Deployment managers, system architects and quality assurance engineers are welcomed.

About Exam

• The Red Hat Certified JBoss Administrator (EX248) exam is required.
• It is a performance-based exam
• Evaluates your skills and knowledge to configure, install, monitor manage and deploy apps

To Red Hat JBoss Application Platform.

• This credential is for system administrators or application developers who will responsible for deployment, implementation and management of Red Hat JBoss Application Platform and its applications.
• It is recommended that candidates earn RHCJA or RHCE before taking this exam but both aren’t required.
• A deep understanding of JEE Concepts is useful but candidates does not need to be developer not this exam comprises tasks of application development.
