Shell Malaysia Scholarships 2017

The Shell Malaysia is offering scholarships for local students of Malaysia. These scholarships are for those students who want to pursue their studies of Masters and Undergraduate degrees in different universities attached with Shell Malaysia. These scholarships are focusing on intellectual Malaysian students in order to financially assist them in their studies.

Round about 1500 awards are offered under this program.

Duration of Scholarship

4 years for BS Degree and 2 years for Masters Degree.

Scholarship Description / Details

This scholarship is offering many grants for the grantees of this program, which are given as follows.

  • This scholarship will cover the basic expenses of students who will be granted this scholarship.
  • Tuition fees
  • University charges
  • The grantees will be paid a stipend also.

Eligibility Criteria

In order to be considered as eligible for the scholarships offered by Shell Malaysia, applicants should possess following eligibility criteria:

  • Must have strong leadership skills and active participation in extracurricular activities such as societies and clubs, sports, etc
  • Not presently holding other scholarship/loans
  • Disabled Identification Card certified by Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat (where applicable)
  • Consistently strong academic achievements as follows:
  • Minimum 3.2 CGPA or it’s equivalent at 1st Degree studies level
  • Minimum 3.2 CGPA or it’s equivalent at Pre University Level  i.e. Diploma/STPM/IB, or 2As & 1B  for A-Levels /Foundation

Applicants, who want to apply for this scholarship:

  • Apply online application system from the official site of Shell
  • Should submit their application form before the final date of submission
  • Attach all necessary documents with application forms:
  • Results cards (of Matriculation, Diploma  ‘A’ Levels, Foundation or semester 1 for 1st Degree students) or trial examination results (for STPM students)
