UNIMORE Scholarships 2025
The University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (UNIMORE) is offering master scholarships for Italian and international students. These scholarships are offered for those domestic and international students who want to seek their master study in the Languages for Communication in International Enterprises and Organization program at the UNIMORE in Italy.
The University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (UNIMORE) offers various scholarships to support students pursuing master’s degrees. For the academic year 2025-2026, UNIMORE provides Study Awards to encourage merit and support individual educational projects. These awards range from €500 to €2,000, depending on the proposed training activities and the quality of the application.
UNIMORE aims to reward merit and support training by funding projects that enhance students’ education and career prospects. Awards target initiatives that provide real benefits, such as curricular and extracurricular activities, boosting career and employment opportunities.The awards now go beyond academic performance (exam averages) to also recognize project skills and address students’ specific training needs.

Duration of Scholarships
The duration of the UNIMORE scholarship is 2 years
Scholarships Description / Details
- 300 study awards worth €550.00 each were announced from the academic year 2025/2026 onwards,
- A fund of €200,000.00 (previous fund: €165,000.00) will be established to pay out the awards in four brackets of €500 – 1000 – 1500 – 2000, respectively, based on individual applications received, up to a total amount equal to the allocated fund.
- The value of €200,000.00 will be divided among each department based on the number of members in the previous year.
Eligibility Criteria
Must meet the following requirements in order to be eligible for the scholarship:
- Have a Bachelor’s Degree
- Have a good proficiency in the first and second language of study to be chosen by the applicant (French, Spanish, English or German): level C1 for the first language and level B2 for the second language
- Good proficiency of the English language, regardless of the chosen languages of study
- Have a good academic and professional background
- Acquire at least 90% of the ECTS credits by the end of the regular session.
- Maintain a weighted average of no less than 27/30, with no grade in A.Y. 2025-2026 lower than 21/30 in profit examinations.
- Submit a detailed training project outlining the intended educational activities.
- All students enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Single-Cycle Degree Programme at UNIMORE for the academic year 2025-2026 can apply.
- Students who graduate in 2025-2026 are eligible if they enroll in a higher degree program at UNIMORE in the next academic year.
- Graduates not enrolled in a UNIMORE program can apply for the “Degree Awards” call for applications.

- Copy of the international language certifications
- Any other qualifications (e.g. Internships, short vocational masters, specialization courses, curriculum vitae etc)
- Reference letter

- Copy of residence permit (for non-EU students)
- One passport size photo
