University of Melbourne Undergraduate Scholarships 2025

University of Melbourne scholarship is offering for international students other than Australia and New Zealand citizens. These scholarships are offered for those students who want to pursue their Undergraduate study at the University of Melbourne in Australia. The University of Melbourne announced the overseas Undergraduate Scholarships in acknowledgment of overseas students’ substantial contributions to the variety of the student body. The institution of Melbourne is a public research institution based in Melbourne, Australia. It was formed in 1853.
International students can apply for the Melbourne International Undergraduate Scholarship 2025–2026, which is partially supported. The University of Melbourne provides fifty undergraduate scholarships each year. Undergraduate tuition fees for the first year will be waived thanks to these scholarships.
The University of Melbourne established the International Undergraduate Scholarships in recognition of the essential role that international students play in diversifying the university’s student body. International Undergraduate Fee Remission Scholarships are given out competitively, subject to course and regional quotas, and are given out based on academic merit.

Scholarship Description / Details

The University of Melbourne Scholarship provides one of the following benefits:

  • A one off $10,000 fee remission from tuition fees in the first year
  • 50% remission from tuition fees for the normal full-time duration
  • 100% remission from tuition fees for the normal full-time duration

Eligibility Criteria

In to be considered for University of Melbourne scholarships, applicants must be:

  • A citizen of a country other than Australia and New Zealand and not a permanent resident of Australia
  • Received an unconditional offer for an undergraduate course

Achieved excellent final year school results, such as:

  • Australian Foundation Studies: 97
  • International GCE A Levels: A* A* A*
  • AISSC, ISC, or Indian State Board HSC: 96
  • Indonesian High School Diploma (SMA/MA): 9.7
  • International Baccalaureate (IB): 40
  • Philippines Year 12 High School Diploma: 96
  • Sri Lanka GCE A Levels: AAA
  • US High School Diploma: 3.9 GPA + 1400 SAT or 30 ACT
  • Vietnam High School Graduation Certificate: 9.8
  • Have not finished any tertiary studies, except for extended studies as part of year 12 program.
  • Be a national of the one of the qualifying nations, including Bangladesh, Pakistan, Indonesia, India, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Thailand, and the Philippines. See: Eligible countries for the full list of nations.
  • Have finished either an Australian foundation program or secondary school outside of Australia.
  • Offered unconditional enrollment in the University of Melbourne’s bachelor’s degree with an overseas fee.

To apply for the Melbourne International Undergraduate Scholarship, please follow the instructions below:

  • No application is required. You will receive this prize immediately.
  • Every qualified applicant who has been extended an unconditional offer of admission to an undergraduate program will be taken into consideration immediately.
  • Here, you can select an undergraduate course.
  • Submit an online application process.
  • No application is required for this scholarship.
  • Eligible students with unconditional offers for undergraduate degrees will be immediately considered.
  • There are five rounds of selection for these scholarships.
  • Semester 1 and 2 students start in November, December, and January.
  • Semester 2 students begin in April and May.
