The University of Miami is giving additional scholarships to international students. These scholarships are separated into three categories: President’s Scholarship, Canes Achievement Award and Premier Academic Scholarships for international undergraduate students.
The fully funded University of Miami Stamps Scholarship 2025-2026 is accessible to international undergraduate students. This scholarship covers textbooks, standard room and board, full tuition, a one-time computer purchase allowance, and a total of $12,000 in undergraduate research and conferences.
The University of Miami is offering multi-year scholarships in collaboration with the Stamps Scholars program to help talented and driven individuals achieve their academic and personal goals.
The Scholars pursue their academic objectives while developing their managerial skills with merit-based financial support that includes resources for social engagements, research projects, study abroad opportunities, and other educational activities. Merit scholarships are automatically given consideration to all entering first-year autumn students.
Scholars at the University of Miami are international students whose diverse backgrounds, pursuits, and passions foster the lively academic environment at the university. Numerous students excel in our application process, showcasing noteworthy academic achievements in a demanding and comprehensive curriculum, a strong work ethic, and significant involvement in extracurricular activities.
The Office of Undergraduate Admission may grant a single merit scholarship to recipients. Keep in mind that first-year students starting in the spring semester are highly competitive for the few available merit scholarships.

Duration of Scholarship
The standard duration of the undergraduate scholarship. Scholarships are only available for a maximum of eight semesters (10 semesters for students enrolled in five-year degree programs) or until the first degree is completed, whichever comes first.
Scholarship Description / Details
The President’s Scholarship offers up to $28,000 yearly.
Canes Achievement Award: Up to $16,000 annually.
Premier Academic Scholarships and Amount:
These scholarships provide full-tuition coverage for up to eight semesters of study toward a single undergraduate degree, or ten semesters for students enrolled in the School of Architecture. The most academically competitive students accepted into the freshman class may be eligible for the Premier Scholarship.
• The Stamps Scholarship covers the full cost of school plus an enrichment fund stipend. In addition to tuition and fees, the scholarship includes on-campus housing, a meal plan, textbooks, a laptop allowance, University health insurance, and a $12,000 enrichment fund to be used for unpaid internships, study abroad, undergraduate research, and other educational activities.
The Ronald A. Hammond Scholarship covers full tuition.
The Isaac Bashevis Singer Scholarship offers full tuition.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the President’s Scholarship, students must meet the following conditions:
- When applying for admission to the University, they are automatically considered.
- Must hold high school diploma certificate with high grades
- Good in extracurricular activities
- The Scholarship Committee will make final decisions on all scholarship awards.
- International applicants must submit a complete application for admission, including academic credentials and a bank letter. The bank letter must state that the applicant will be able to pay the difference between the scholarship award and the total cost of attendance.
- The University of Miami has extremely competitive admissions. The quality of the applicant’s high school coursework and grades, as well as their performance on standardized tests, letters of recommendation, essay, and awards and accomplishments, are all taken into account.
- International applicants must submit a full application for admission by the deadline indicated below.
- Official results from IELTS or TOEFL.
- Certificate of Secondary General Education.
- Scholarship winners must complete 12 credit hours in each autumn and spring semesters of a full-time undergraduate degree to achieve a total of 24 credit hours every academic year.
- At the University of Miami, students must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 for the academic year. GPA is calculated at the end of the second semester of attendance.
- The reward is subject to change if any unexpected grants, scholarships, prepaid tuition, and/or housing assistance are obtained.
- Scholarships are only available for a maximum of eight semesters (10 semesters for students enrolled in five-year degree programs) or until the first degree is completed, whichever comes first.
