The Victoria University of New Zealand is offering scholarships for International students. These scholarships are for those students who want to pursue their PhD degree studies in Victoria University. These scholarships are aiming at applications from highly intellectual students from developing countries and local students from within New Zealand.

Scholarship Description / Details
Victoria University of Wellington PhD Scholarships for National and International Students provide many grants for the applicants, these following grants are:
- Scholarship will cover the full tuition fees.
- Additional annual allowance of $23,500.
Eligibility Criteria
In order to be considered for Victoria university of wellington PhD scholarships for national and international students, applicants must fulfill the following criteria:
- Applicants from within New Zealand or outside (any developing country) with a valid passport are eligible to apply.
- Those graduates who want to pursue or have already started full-time PhD / Doctoral studies at Victoria university are welcome.
- Applicant should be an outstanding academic achiever as this scholarship is awarded based on academic merit.
- English proficiency is a must. Applicants must have 90 points in TOEFL (minimum 20 points in writing) and IELTS band of 6.5 overall.

- Sample of your academic writing (2000 words approx.)
- Certified copies of academic transcripts from institutions other than Victoria
- Academic referees provided with report form and advised of due date
- Certified copy of Diploma supplement (for EU applicants only)
- Proof of English language proficiency
- Consent to disclosure of information signed
