What is Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician?

CCENT confirms the aptitude to connect and troubleshoot a very minor branch network. It mainly includes basic network security in order to operate the branch network. CCENT leads the candidate in an environment where he can assess his own skills regarding branch networks.

Taking Exam

As mentioned before, candidate can appear for this exam after getting trained with Part1 (ICND1) course. How to get registered?

To get registered, follow these steps:

  • Register online via http://www.vue.com/cisco/
  • Opt one type of exam either proctored or self-administered.
  • Schedule the exam online, phone or through test center.
  • Pearson VUE is a co-partner of cisco and will provide every single need regarding exam.

Criteria for Recertification

As far as the validity is concerned, its validity time span is three years in general. In order to recertify, pass the below mention test before the expiry date:

  • Pass ICND1 exam or any current Associate Level exam or any current 642-XXX professional level or any 300-XXX professional level.
  • Pass current CCIE exam or CCDE written exam or CCDE practical exam
  • Pass Cisco Certified Architect interview and Cisco Architect Board review.
