Janus Friis founder of Skype is a famous Danish internet entrepreneur. He was born in the year of 1976 on June 26 in Copenhagen Denmark. He started his early education in his town school but he was dropped out of the school after just a couple of years. The reason behind this dropping out was that he was not much interested in studies. After that, he didn’t attend any school or institution and had not any proper formal education.

When he became the aware of the fact that he is unable to get any proper education, the he started to find any job. He started his first job at the help desk of Cyber City which was the first internet service provider company of Denmark. After some years of job career, he tried many businesses after another but failed to get any proper worth from them. Janus Friis is widely credited as the Co Founder of Skype which was founded in the year of 2004. By hearing this, Janus Friis met him in Denmark where he had come to head his business of Tele2. Janus shared his idea of developing an online telephone company. This idea influenced Niklas and as a result they co founded Skype in 2004.

Both Janus and Niklas Zennstrom had worked as CEOs of Skype and presently it has more than 309 million users world widely.
