Duration of this scholarship is 3.5 years for PhD program.

Scholarship Description / Details

President’s PhD scholarships at Imperial College London provide many grants for the applicants, these following grants are:

• Funds that cover full tuition fees.
• A stipend of £21,200 per annum to cover the living expenses.
• £2,000 per annum (as a consumables fund) for the first 3 years of study.
• Participation in career driven events delivered by the Graduate School.

Eligibility Criteria

In order to be considered for President’s PhD scholarships at Imperial College London, applicants must fulfill the following criteria:

• The scholarship is open to all nationalities including the UK nationals.
• Applicants must have highest grades in undergraduate degree, and in receipt of, or due to receive a first-class UK degree or equivalent.
• Candidates with master’s qualifications should have achieved a distinction or, where this has yet to have been achieved, be able to provide evidence of high performance that will lead to a distinction.
• Applicants with degrees from overseas institutions are strongly urged to determine if their scores/grades are equivalent to the relevant eligibility criteria.
• Before applying, applicants must have to contact the PhD supervisors at Imperial College and confirm who will be supervising their research project.

Note: Already registered PhD scholars are not eligible to apply for this scholarship, this is only open to new PhD applications.
