Accidents and incidents

The most recent accident that happened with Singapore Airlines happened on 27 June 2016. The right engine of a Boeing 777-300ER caught fire during an emergency landing. This fire was a result of an engine oil-spill. No causalities were reported.

On 8 December 2017 a fire broke out at Hamad International Airport, Doha. It damaged the registration A7-AIB of Airbus A321-231 beyond economic repair. No accidents with injury and death involved are reported.
