Interest in Development of Cars

His interest in the manufacturing and development of cars began when his cousin Kiichiro asked him to look after the construction of another factory which was under construction about 32 km east of Nagoya, a site of red pine forest which was in the town of Koromo. That company began the production of cars later on which was named as Toyota City. That company is also considered as the mother factory for the Toyota Motor’s production plants overall the world. Founder of Lexus

In 1950s he visited the manufacturing plant of Toyota Motor Company and realized that despite of the age of the company more than 15 years at that time, the company was unable to reach a target of manufacturing cars 2,500 because of some deficiencies in the manufacturing plant. While at the same time he also visited the manufacturing plant of Ford Motors and noticed that after the same age that company had produced over 8,000 automobiles. He found the reason for that big difference in manufacturing and that was the way of building cars. The Ford Motor Company was using U. S. technology while his cousin was using Japan’s technology in building cars. So he suggested his cousin to use the technology of U. S. but in a different manner.

That was the reason that he is also known in the history of Toyota Motor Company as the person who brought the company on the track of profitability.
