(A) Applicants for these scholarships must meet the following criteria:

  • This scholarship only for international students, Candidates with two nationalities, one of which is French, is not eligible for this scholarship
  • For master’s courses, applicants must be no older than 30 years on the date of the selection committee meeting
  • At Ph.D. level, applicants must be no older than 35 years on the date of the selection committee meeting
  • Applicants must have good English/French language skills.

(A) An applicant may apply for other scholarship programs but cannot hold two scholarships at the same time.

(A) Candidates must contact the international relations department of the university or institution through their official website by phone or email, to get information about the deadline for submission of applications. Candidates may contact the campus France office or the French embassy of their home country. After the applicant’s French university or institute has decided to support their application to the Eiffel scholarship, they will send the application form to the applicant and assist them to fill it out. In the end, the university or institute will send the application on the applicant’s behalf.

Note:

  •  Only French higher education institutions are allowed to shortlist the candidates and send their online application on the candidate’s behalf on the Campus France website.
  • Those applications which are sent directly by candidates or by foreign educational institutions will be dismissed.
  • Any French higher education institution can apply. Candidates according to their project of study have to choose by themselves the French institution.
