International Foundation for Science (IFS) is a NGO (non-governmental organization) that is offering grants for international researcher all over the world. IFS have 135 Affiliated Organizations in 86 countries. So, IFS offers grants in developing and in industrial countries for scientist’s researcher that conducting research on the sustainable management of biological resource.

Awards Description: IFS provides many benefits for the researchers:
- Individual Research grants are awarded on merit in amounts up to USD 12,000 for one to three
- Years under the IFS grants.
- Grants are used for the purchase of basic tools for research:
- Equipment
- Expendable supplies and literature
- Field activities

Eligibility Criteria: In to be considered for IFS grants, Researcher must follow:
- Researcher must be citizens of eligible countries
- Researcher must have a minimum of an M.Sc, MA or equivalent academic degree
- Researcher must be younger than 35 years of age for men, and 40 years of age for women.
- If the applicant’s/researcher 35thbirthday (men) and 40th birthday (women) birthday are on or after the closing date of the call, he/she is still eligible.
