International Postgraduate Coursework Award (IPCA) 2021

International Postgraduate Coursework Award (IPCA) is offering by the University of Melbourne for any nationality other than Australia or New Zealand and not a permanent resident of Australia. PICA scholarships are offered for those applicants who want to continue their postgraduate degree at the University of Melbourne in Australia. The International Postgraduate Coursework Award (IPCA) is awarded to high achieving international students undertaking a graduate coursework degree.

Duration of Scholarships

Standard duration is for the postgraduate degree program by the PICA. An extension to scholarship is not possible

Scholarships Description / Details

PICA covers:

  • The PICA scholarship provides fee remissions of between 25% and 100% of tuition fees

PICA does not cover:

  • Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC)
  • A living allowance
  • Travel or relocation allowances
  • Voluntary Student Union (VSU) fees
  • Overseas fieldwork costs
  • Visa application fees

 Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for PICA, candidates must:

  • A citizen of a country except Australia or New Zealand and not a permanent resident of Australia
  • Have applied for an eligible graduate coursework degree
  • Must be commencing study at the University of Melbourne for the first time
  • Applicants must not be in receipt of any other tuition fee remission scholarship or sponsorship which, in combination with the IPCA, exceeds 100% of tuition fees
  • Not have received any other scholarship provided by the Australian Government in the last 2 years

How to Apply / Download Scholarships Form / Documents Required

  • Applicants do not need to submit an application for IPCA
  • Candidates who have received an unconditional offer for an eligible graduate coursework degree, will be automatically considered for an International Postgraduate Coursework Award
