It has two main products: Google Voice and IP telephony.

Chat history is saved online and can be synced across devices. Photos can also be shared during chat with special advantage of direct uploading to Google+ album. Coloured emojis can be used while messaging. Previously, users could have a group chat with up to 10 users. Now it’s Increased to 25 users. In newer versions, Google Meet is integrated with text messages. It also allows location sharing feature now.

Skype

Skype is a communication application that enables world’s conversations. It works best on all devices: mobiles, computers or tablets and is compatible with Android, iOS, web browser alike. It’s currently available in nearly 108 languages providing a wide arena of communication tools like video conferencing, VoIP and instant messaging. Though, Skype is primarily designed as a commercial product, it is frequently used by educationalists and other individuals and groups to facilitate exchange of thoughts.

RingCentral is an American cloud-based communication solutions provider for businesses. It was founded in 1999 by Vlad Shmunis and three others. It currently generates approximately 673.6 million dollars. Customers don’t need to make huge capital investments.

RinCentral’s leading product is RingCentral Office. It also offers RingCentral Professional and RingCentral Fax.  RingCentral Office helps the user to connect with other over the globe from any supported device of user’s choice. It allows sharing files from computer, Google drive, Outlook, Box integration and Dropbox. It offers very useful add-ons for hosting web-seminars and large meetings that can cater to the needs of over 500 participants at a time. The free plans allow users to have online meetings with up to 100 participants. RingCentral Professional provides a universal phone number, voice mail, call forwarding through an application available on android and iphone devices.  RingCentral Fax allows the user to send and receive faxes without use of a fax machine through the internet.

GoToMeeting

It is a web-hosted service created by LogMeln. This videoconferencing application, founded in 2004, offers online meetings, desktop sharing and video conferencing packages for communication with other computer users, customers and colleagues through the medium of internet. It is designed to share the desktop view of host computer with other connected computers through internet. Data is protected through encryption and passwords provided by Secure Sockets Layer.

GoToMeeting  works well on android and iPhone devices. It allows specific application and data sharing with attendees. It also allows multi-monitor support for the host computer. One meeting can host up to 100 participants.

Due to its low cost and varied services, it received Best Collaboration Solution Codie awards in 2016 and 2017.
