UNE International Postgraduate Research Scholarships for International Students 2021 / 2022

The university of New England is offering valuable scholarships for international students who want to pursue their postgraduate research studies in Australia. The university exists in northern central New South Wales in the Armidale city. Approximately 22,500 graduates are enrolled in the university. The university aims to provide distance education to students all over the world.

Field of Study / Subjects

Applicants can choose any of the following fields for their postgraduate degree programs under this scholarship. The fields can be:

  • Faculty of Medicine and Health
  • Faculty of Science, Agriculture, Business and Law
  • Faculty of Humanities, arts, Social Sciences and Education

Other latest Scholarships in Australia are also offered for different degrees and subjects all over the Australia.

Number of Scholarships

Approximately 20 scholarships are offered annually to the international students to study in master’s and PhD programs.

Duration of Scholarship

02 years for research MS degree and 03 years for PhD degree program.

Scholarship Description / Details

UNE International Postgraduate Research Scholarships provide many grants for the applicants; these following grants are:

  • Covers full tuition fees for whole duration of scholarship.
  • A tax-free stipend of $26,000 each year.
  • Covers standard overseas health insurance.

Note: Visa fees, living costs, travel and medical expenses are not included in this scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria

In order to be considered for UNE International Postgraduate Research scholarship, applicants must fulfill the following criteria:

  • Australian citizens or permanent residence holders are not eligible to apply.
  • Applicant must have received offer letter of full-time course from the University of New England (UNE).
  • Applicant should not be recipient of any other scholarship, award or salary that provide benefit more than 75% of this scholarship rate.
  • Those applicants who have completed master’s level study can not apply for master’s research course under this scholarship (same applies for PhD candidates).

Applicants can apply for this scholarship, must follow some steps:

  • Download and complete the scholarship application form.
  • Attach all the required documents with the form, or your application may not be considered.
  • Read the application guidelines to fill application form correctly.

  • Transcripts of all the programs undertaken
  • Proof of offer letter
  • Research proposal
  • Academic referee report
  • Proof of English language proficiency
