Newcastle University is offering Newcastle University Overseas Research Scholarship (NUORS) for international candidates all over the world. Newcastle University is committed to offering support to the very best international students hoping to pursue a program of research. A small number of University funded NUORS awards for outstanding international students who apply to commence PhD studies in any subject.

Scholarships Description / Details

Newcastle University Overseas Research Scholarship for International Students provide many grants for the applicants, these following grants are:

• Tuition fee scholarships of typically £7,800 – £11,700 per year.
• NUORS scholarships cover the difference between fees for UK/EU students and international students.

Eligibility Criteria

In order to be considered for Newcastle University Overseas Research Scholarship  (NUORS) for international students, applicants must fulfill the following criteria:

• Must have successfully secured a place in a PhD research program at Newcastle university.
• Have been assessed as international/overseas for fees purposes, and are wholly or partially self-financing.
• Looking to register to start research studies during the 2019 / 2020 academic year.

Note: Only those applicants who have been offered a research program at Newcastle campus and have not yet started their study are eligible to apply.

• Applicants must have offer letter of their PhD research study program from Newcastle university.
• Complete the NUORS application form and apply online.
• Complete the application form according to NUORS Regulations 19-20‌.
