The Leakey Foundation’s is offering research awards for international researchers related specifically to human origins and evolution. This Foundation has provided grants to many of the seminal studies that inform our understanding of human prehistory. Scholarships Description / Details

The Leakey Foundation’s Research Grants for International Researchers provide many grants for the applicants, these following grants are:

• The Leakey Foundation’s Research Grants to doctoral students are in the range of $3,000-$15,000.
• Larger grants, especially to senior scientists and post-doctoral students, may be funded up to $25,000.
• This will include the salary and/or fringe benefits of applicant, tuition, non-project personnel, child care, equipment, travel to meetings, institutional overhead, publication costs or institutional support.

Eligibility Criteria

In order to be considered for the Leakey Foundation’s Research Grants for International Researchers, applicants must fulfill the following criteria:

• Applicant should be an advanced doctoral student and established scientist.
• There are no residency restrictions for applicants.
• All applications must be in English.
